A Case Report of Patient with Meniere s disease Treated with Korean Medicine

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to figure out the effect of Korean Medicine on Meniere's disease.
Methods : The patient diagnosed as Meniere’s was treated with Korean Medicine, involving herbal medicine and acupuncture.
We used Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) to observe the effect of the treatment.
Results : After the treatment, VAS score of Meniere’s disease(vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, aural fullness) decreased and even after discharge, patients maintained those improved symptoms.
Conclusions : This study suggests that Korean Medicine is effective on Meniere's disease, but further studies should be followed.
